PRIZES, GIFTS AND OPORTUNITIES
The Arjau contest wants to reward the
young musicians offering them an interpretation framework to present
their music, and wants to avoid the hardness of a simple contest. This
is why the eliminatory and the finale are organized as a concert.
- All the participants receive a gift offered by
the enterprises that collaborate with us (books, tickets for concerts,
bills for discs). All the competitors, particularly the youngest ones,
are rewarded by the public applauses and a gift.

The contest also implies, despite
of all, a select aspect, and the competitors that pass the first
eliminatory have the opportunity to play at the Conservatori Superior
del Liceu's Hall, which already is a beautiful prize. [We
try, in the limits of the day schedule, to offer this possibility to
the maximum number of persons, which means that there are a high number
of finalists].
- For each method and category will be put back three
prizes.

SPECIAL PRIZES
Unattached of the categories and methods, and wether to have obtained a
price or not, the following prizes will be awared:
The VIIIth prize
"Francesc Dagà" awarded with 300 €, from Mrs. M. Carmen
Arbós widow Dagà, will be attributed for the best
individual interpretation or in group with string instrument/s.
A special mention, granted by International
Cycle of Musical influences, will be attributed for the best
interpretation of a contemporary author's work. The competitors that
will interprete contemporary works, notorious for their innovative
character, can participate in the next edition of the Cycle.
Special
Prize
Montsalvatge Centenary awarded
with 300 €, given by the Xavier Montsalvatge
Association to the best
interpretation of his music.
A special mention awarded by the assistance for each
modality and category.
